Arrival Story:
In June 2006 with much sorrow I had to put down my 13 year old yellow lab, she was my best friend. Then the search started for a new best friend. My husband kept checking the shelters in Providence and told me about a pit bull. I had never owned a pit bull and had never known one, so I wasn't sure. Then I saw him on Pick-a-Pet which is a part of the news. Every Saturday morning the Providence Animal Shelter shows one or 2 pets that are looking for a home. Simba was one of the puppies. I thought he was adorable, so we took a drive to the Pet Shelter and ended up bringing him home the same day.
