   Leave a bone for Murray

Nicknames:
Mur-mur, Pochito Morfoni (its a long story), pup-pup

Quick Bio:
-purebred

Likes:
Harassing his big brother, going on walks around the neighborhood, alerting us when neighbors come home (or when someone walks by outside, or when the phone rings, or when there is a noise anywhere in the vicinity) and getting hugs from the parents

Pet-Peeves:
Parents leaving every morning, rain and cold weather

Favorite Toy:
Blue Booda Elephant and dirty socks

Favorite Food:
Plaid dog turkey tenders and pieces of cheese

Favorite Walk:
Everywhere, but especially in downtown Boston

Best Tricks:
Shake, lie down and looking cute (we're working on more)

Arrival Story:
Murray came to us from a breeder in Ohio when he was 3 months old! Dad drove 8 hours each way to bring him home for Thanksgiving without even seeing a picture! Tango and Murray met in the breeder's kitchen over a bowl of chicken and rice. They've been friends ever since! Well... Tango did beat Murray up a few times, but besides that, they've been friends every since.

Bio:
Murray is happy-happy-happy go lucky! He loves everything and everyone, except for big dogs that snap at him, he really hates those. He loves to harass Tango, especially when Tango has a bone or a treat. He runs forward and bites Tango's behind and runs away over and over again until Tango chases him! He is always swishing his little tail around (his tail wasn't docked because he was so little when he was born), even when we are scolding him, which makes it REALLY hard to be mad for long. Plus look at that adorable face, could you be mad at him??? Murray is also in training right now to become a therapy dog and we are hoping his antics will make lots of people (besides us) laugh!

My Wonderful Life, by Murray

Share the Licks!

Its been a long while since I wrote a diary post, sorry about that! I tend to let my brother Tango do the talking.

We've had a great summer- visiting parks and beaches, going out to the Berkshires, playing in our backyard, and enjoying the sun. I love summer! I'm a little concerned that the weather in Boston is getting chillier, and with chillier comes that freezing white stuff that I do NOT love. We'll see, maybe this year will be different.

Our little family has been sad lately after hearing about the terrible things that are happening in New Orrrrrrrleans and the hurrrrrricane. I tried to get my mom to send some of my toys and treats down to all the pooches (and maybe some cats, grrrr) that have lost so much, but she says that we'll have to send other stuff to help out instead.

Maybe if we all send a little bit, there won't be any more of our doggy friends without a family or a home.

I wish for all of you pups out there a safe, warm, and loving family, lots of treats, and the opportunity to give licks galore.

Ruff!

Boston is COLD.

Its snowing today! That is what my mom keeps calling the white stuff, anyway. I was barking through the window at the flakes, so she opened the door to let me sniff it. I got within 3 inches of that stuff and high-tailed it back inside. No thank you, it is freeeeeeeeezing outside.

I am happy to say that my grandma is visiting though! This is fantastic news, because she gives us tons of treats while our mom and dad are at work and we are never alone! Plus, her lap is pretty warm during the day and she lets us crawl into bed with her while our parents are getting ready in the mornings. I have definitively designated her as a sucker. She gives in to our cute ways.

Our new house is also pretty set up at this point. Tango and I have all our toys unpacked and every day we distribute them throughout the house to play with them. Every night mom tries to put them in our basket which is totally annoying because it just gives us extra work while she is away. Sometimes the big dogs just don't get it.

Thanks for all the new pup pals, I LOVE new friends! Happy Holidays!

Fur on the Ground

I made a new discovery this week... fur on the ground. My parents keep saying carpets, but I don't know what that is. I have never seen this fur on the ground before, but BOOOOOYYYY do I love it. I can run all over the place and not skid and crash into walls! I can also run up and down the stairs although my mom yells a lot about that. I guess its because I don't actually run down them, but kind of put my legs straight in front of me and slide down the whole way. I don't know why she has a problem with that, but I'll try not to let her see me do it next time.

We moved to our new house this week and the whole house is covered with this fur stuff, so Tango and I have been wrestling nonstop. We also have a new and improved back yard with about 3 inches of leaves as cushion since Dad doesn't want to rake until all the leaves are off the trees. Great for us! That way when Tango throws me around I land on soft stuff. There are a couple of squirrels that keep screaming at us from the trees, though. Maybe they didn't know we were coming. We are going to teach them who are the bosses- Tango and I discussed it.

I love my new house! Lots of licks until next time!
