Arrival Story:
My brother was looking for a dog for his son and there she was! She's my nephews best friend as well as his guardian!

Bio:
Ginger somehow got out of the yard and ran on to a busy highway. She made it across 3 lanes of traffic but on the 4th she was hit in the hind quarters. My brother was rushing home to find her and saw the whole thing happen. The guy that hit her stopped to help him get her in the car. She was in a lot of pain and very scared. He got her to the vet and they were great. Within about 2 weeks she was back home but still unable to walk. It was a lot of work to get her moving around again. After thousands of dollars, 2 operations, and a few months she was doing 90% better. Now years later she still has trouble with her back leg but she's doing great. Her back right leg and part of her hips were basicly shattered in the accident. She's thankfully recovered well and we are so glad she did. She's such a big part of our family and we're glad that she's still here with us. Thank God!
