Arrival Story:
My two moms already had Nick and all those pesky cats in the house, but they wanted a little dog to sit on their laps and be cute. I was living at the pound, which wasn't very fun. One of my moms saw my picture on the Internet and she could tell I didn't like the pound very much. She came to visit and lucky for me, sitting on laps and being cute are my specialties! They really fell in love with me when I got to their house and started coughing incessantly a few days later... then the mean old veterinarian told them they should just euthanize me! Can you imagine the nerve of that guy?!?! Luckily, they took me to the really nice veterinarian instead and he said I could be fixed up in no time! Lucky for me, one of my new moms has a good job and lots of money for medicine and for getting my teeth fixed! Now I'll get to live in this nice house with Nick and everyone for as long as my tired old body can hang in there (and it plans to hang in there for a long time!). Come to think of it, maybe my new name should be "Lucky" instead of "Archie"... not that it matters, because I won't answer to either one of them anyway!

Bio:
In the pictures at the left, you can see me standing by the door when I first arrived at my new home. The second picture is the first time I met the disabled kitty, Roo. She and I are good friends now! I was SOOOO much cuter when I first got here! My moms took me for a haircut and that woman gave me the worst haircut you've ever seen! Then three people at her store held me down and tried to shave off my eyebrows -- boy, did I throw a fit about that -- hello, I only way 25 pounds, do you think I might have been a little intimidated by three people holding me down and trying to buzz-cut my face!?! Jeez, sometimes people are stupid! It was much nicer to just lay quietly on my Mom's lap and let her nicely trim my eyebrows and beard with little scissors... and what a difference now that I can see! Once my curly hair grows back, I will be STYLIN'!
