My boyfriend had a black lab when we first met. He died prematurely from a tick bite. Recently, my boyfriend was lamenting how he wished he'd have another black lab. And I said that we could think about getting one if we came across a cheap one somewhere. I mentioned this at work and my co-worker said 'Hey..you're in luck...' and told me about the dog they knew. My co-worker's inlaws niece bought the dog for their little baby. Unfortunately, they had to move to an apartment and couldn't keep the puppy. So...we adopted it. Hurray!
