Arrival Story: Our family wanted a second dog, but we didn't want a puppy, as we already had a seven month old pug puppy, so we looked into a few local rescues. When our application was approved through SRGL and Lassie's foster mom brought her to meet us, it was love at first sight for everyone. Lassie and our pug, Rocky, played and played, her foster mom said they had never seen her play like that before, with another dog. Lassie just came in and made herself at home, had a blast playing with Rocky and our four kids, and since that night, we wouldn't trade her for anything. 3. I am sharing my home at the preasent time with two foster bonded sheltie sisters (and proud to do it).
4. I love to wear the very pretty ruffle collars that my mom makes for me.
5. I love for my mom and human sisters to brush my beautiful, silky coat (I fall asleep).
6. I like human food very much, and sneak some every chance I get (although rumor has it that mom is keeping an extra eye on me on this fact).
7. I love to go for car rides (I just wish I got to go more often).

Three years ago tomorrow, is the date that I first came to live with my family. I was adopted from Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana on Jan, 23rd, 2004. I was found in an awful, dirty house, along with a few other furpals, and was taken to rescue. I don't know my birthday, so we say my birthday is the day we became a family! Our family is very thankful for all the rescue groups that help find new loving homes for all the furkids.
