Arrival Story:
Beau was born on 27 April 2004 and heaven sent. In March I lost my 12 year old Chihuahua Dudley - I can never replace the irreplaceable Dudley, but my life was just too empty and lonely without a little dog by my side, so I cautiously began thinking about the idea of getting a puppy. I know Dudley and Scamper (my Silkie Terrier who I lost 2 1/2 years ago at age 18, and who was Dudley's best friend) had little paws in sending Beau to me. Beau is now almost 10 months old and has been with me for 7 months - he is an angel, I am totally besotted with him. His pictures don't begin to show how utterly adorable he is, body and soul. He's an independent little boy, much like Scamper in personality, happy to play with his toys, never complains about going into his playpen, adores watching the cats...he never cries and only barks when he's playing. He puts his front feet together and "waves" - just like Scamper always did. He's a bouncer, a pouncer, a wiggler, a jumper and a dancer. With strangers he's very quiet and reserved, just like Dudley was, but once he realizes he has an audience he's quite a hammy show-off. He travels well in his "purse", and goes into all kinds of stores - he's such perfect angel no one even knows he's in there. He is my sunshine.

Bio:
Beau has a twin brother named Vinny - though Beau is a long hair and Vinny is a shorthair; he has 2 sisters, Minnie, a sable shorthair, and a little longhaired sister Fantasia...Minnie and Vinny are with their new families now, and Fantasia is staying with the breeder - who has the most delightful bunch of Chihuahuas I've ever seen, it was Chihuahua heaven. Beau became an uncle on 23 Nov, when a full sister (though not littermate) had a litter of puppies...one of those puppies, Brodie, came home to us just in time for Valentine's Day. Brodie is the imp to Beau's Zen Monk - they are perfect ying/yang compliments to each other. They get along marvelously, they are best buds, always playing together...running, chasing, wrestling, playing keep away with chewies, etc.
