I lost my first born baby...my precious boy Leo...November 1, 2010. One day before his 12th birthday.

Leo...I will love you always. You were my love and I miss you every moment of every day...


They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

From Emma and Maggie's Mom...A very special lady

I wanted to share this very special poem.....from a very special lady...and my very special friend. Emma and Maggie's Mom Kari and I just had a special bond from the first time we met..and in August of this year..she came to meet me...and it was one of the most special days of my life. I loved that she was there with me..and I got to hug her...and wag my big tail for her to tell her how happy I was that she was with me. I never thought it would be the only time I would ever be able to spend time with her...but it sure was a very special day. Thank you so much Kari. I love you. Love, Leo

From the first moment I saw you,
There was nothing I could do,
We were connected in a way
That only happens to a few

You stole my heart
With your wise old face
And you melted my soul
With your big brown eyes

I fell instantly in love with you.

I flew eight hundred miles
Just to hold you in my arms
And just as I suspected
You mastered that Golden charm

I could see the struggle in your walk,
But it didn’t slow you down
You greeted me with joy
As you padded through the house.

I knew I was in love with you.

It was clear to me, this was my only chance
To hug you close and whisper in your ear
That even though I loved them all,
I would forever love you the most

My heart broke as I turned to walk away
I wanted to take you with me
And never let you go
I never dreamed this could be.

I will forever be in love with you.

When you took your last breath,
My heart skipped a beat and I knew
We were connected in a way
That only happens to a few

Although you are gone,
And life will never be the same
The ribbon of love we share
Will forever in my heart remain.

Perhaps I’ll see you again one day
And I will instantly fall in love with you again.

The video on the right side of my page is a video of our very special friends Jessie and Jersey. This is 10 year old Jessie..playing with her 10 week old sister Jersey. Jessie is at the Bridge with me now...and Jersey has a Goldendoodle sister named Jasmine..who she loves to play with too!
