Arrival Story:
Kodi's dad and mom went to New York and brought home Cuddy, a 4 month old Rottweiler puppy. Cuddy became very ill shortly after and after many vet visits, surgery, and specialists, at 9 months old Cuddy could not hold on any longer. When the breeder was notified (in case any of the other dogs in the litter became ill), the breeders replaced Cuddy. Kodi's mom brought him home from a North Carolina associate on a wonderful February day in a carry on under the airplane seat and the little guy quietly cried. It is hard to believe now that Kodi is 128 lbs, but he was only 15 lbs at the time. Kodi Bear soothed our sore hearts and brings us joy everyday.

Bio:
Kodi is our loving sweet pet, not a show dog although he is beautiful. His pictures do not do him justice. Kodi's lineage goes back many generations and the breeders were very careful not to inbreed their dogs. His grandmother won Best Opposite Sex at Westminster a few years ago. Kodi Bear is our pet, not a show dog and he is so much fun. He wins the BEST dog with us and those who meet him - ask his vets - they always tell us what a great Rottie he is, because he is so easy to work with. Kodi LOVES people - to the point of scaring many strangers, because he wants to sniff, slobber on, and kiss each potential new friend he meets. He thinks other dogs are okay, but he's really a people dog. We have seven grandchildren and he loves them all and is very good with them, never aggresive. I do have to admit though, that this big male rottie doesn't know how to lift his leg - even though I would stand outside and lift mine and tell him that is what he was supposed to do :-). Kodi loves to snuggle, loves to go bye-bye with us, has so many toys our kids accuse us of giving the dog more toys than they ever had (which of course is not true). Kodi is walked everyday by services provided by Kim's Pet Sitting. They do a great job and take very good, loving care of our Kodi.
