Sharp Needles

Well it has been almost a month now since my mom was told I had diabetes??? Not sure what is going on for sure but a lot has changed for me. My mom has to stick me every morning with this sharp thing and every night, afterwards though I get a carrot. Mom was holding me the other night and crying because she has been so worried about me. She told me that I have lost a lot of weight (so maybe they can change my name) but she said that she would call my doctor and ask some more questions. We have to eat now at special times and my mom puts chicken broth on my food and warms it up - yummy!! She does this for my brother and my doggy mommy too. I don't get any more of those good treats but the carrots are fine, I like them and green peppers too. I have to go back and see the doctor again next week and I guess they will stick my with that sharp thing again. Mom says they have to check my blood sugar, whatever that means. Mom says that when they get this blood sugar stuff under control I will feel better. I haven't had much energy lately. The sugar stuff has been pretty high. I will let you all know what the doctor tells us next week. Bye for now.
