Arrival Story:
Ranger came to me as a foster dog through Pointer Rescue.org. After a week and a half, we adopted him! He was extremely emaciated, had whipworm and welts from being hit. Now, he's a completely different boy - almost chubby, much more confident, very playful and absolutely delicious to snuggle with! He has gained 20 pounds, got rid of the whipworm and is starting to trust people besides me, my husband and daughter!

Ranger was a working dog - a hunter. When we go to the dog park which is dozens of acres on Long Island Sound, he likes to point and chase birds until he realizes he is chest-deep in the water!
