My Tail of Devotion for Loto

I remember when we first brought Loto home from the pound, he was just 10 months old ( still a puppy) and very unassuming. He ate through a dozen pairs of leather shoes and 3 leashes. He ran away 4 times which I had to drive an hour to find him. Once I was following him in my car when I told to the ladies walking on the street to hang on to him. She asked me if he was my dog and I answered yes. The lady told me that your dog must not like you because he's trying too get away from you. That stub me right in the heart. Still I persisted into nurturing him and hoping that eventually he'll learn to like his new home and family. The fifth time he got out I did not chase after him to my surprise he came back home by himself. That very instant I knew that he's finally love us back and that he's happy with us.
