 Quick Bio:
 Likes: Humans

Pet-Peeves: Other dogs-very antisocial

Favorite Toy: Laundry softner sheets-she'd pull them out of the garbage to shred them.

Favorite Food: Pedigree-when I got her that's all she would eat, everyday until she passed

Favorite Walk: When we lived in Florida, around a pond near our house, where she could chase ducks.

Best Tricks: High five

Arrival Story: When I was a child, my family lived in Saudi Arabia (my dad worked for an oil company). Our family dog passed away when I was six and for five years I begged for another dog. Finally, when I was 11, my parents agreed, only if I would take care of it completely. Unfortunately there was no rescue groups or pounds (the Saudis prefer cats to dogs, so you'd never see many dogs except on the compounds with foreigners), so we had to buy from a breeder (BIG MISTAKE!) We looked at Muffin, then Kate, when she was 8 months old in August 1991. She had never lived inside (we're talking 120 degree weather over there), had to share one food bowl with three other adult dogs, hardly been bathed, and you could count her ribs. She also wouldn't go near men. Obviously an abusive breeder. My 11 year-old heart melted. We bought her. She actually came from champion English lines. She was my dog only. I was fully responsible for her from that day forward and she and I become inseparable.

Bio: Muffin went everywhere with me for the rest of her life. When we moved back to Florida in 1995, she came with us (so when people claim they can't take dogs when moving, that's bull! We moved internationally with our dog!), she went to college with me in Atlanta, and D.C. with me after college. When I got married, she came with me and my husband loved her. He was the only man she ever liked besides my father. Muffin lost her sight and her hearing in her last few years of life, but we never gave up and neither did she. On December 19, 2005, she had to be put to sleep after a tumor burst. I screamed and cried as she laid in my arms breathing her last breath. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life and I couldn't leave my bed for 3 days afterwards. I miss her all the time, despite adopting two dogs since then. She was the most faithful, loving, companion a girl could have.

Forums Motto: Her highness will see you now.
