Weekly miles

This week I walked 5.71 miles.

I walked 3.12 today. I went off leash for a bit and chased some critters in the woods. It was a beautiful day and I had a good time.

Unfortunately tomorrow is suppossed to be cold and rainy. No walk outside for me. Besides, Sunday is my rest day. Not that Sunday is much different in terms of the amount of rest I take.

2010 Miles

I walked 233.99 miles in 2010. Already walked 1.13 miles in 2011.

I'm aiming for 250 miles in 2011.

Dogsters, help your people reach their goals and take them for a walk. Start small but start. If you can go big then all the better but make your people put on their shoes, get your leash & poop bags and get out there.

First 5K

I ran in my first timed 5K race on Nov. 14. It was the Impact Animal Foundation Just Fur Fun 5K and Dog Jog. I finished in 42:25.92. I had a good time and we helped a good cause - the rescue group that rescued me.

I've also walked over 200 miles so far this year.

I've walked over 100 miles so far this year! That's a long way.

Walking for 2009

I have walked over 200 miles in 2009! That's over double my goal. I deserve a treat.

Linda will post my daily walking mileage and other interesting bits. I would do it myself but I don't have thumbs.

Walking miles: July 26 - Aug. 1

This week I walked 4.38 miles. So far this year, I have walked 130.97 miles.

C'mon Dogsters, get your people moving. If I can do it in the Texas heat and humidity then anyone can. Of course, we walk in the morning when the heat and humidity is more tolerable.

Move it.

Yeah! A Walk

Linda set her alarm properly and woke up early enough for us to go on a walk. We even took the longer route - .63 miles. Linda pauses her stopwatch when I want to stop and sniff around. It keeps her time a bit more accurate.

Last night I tried to help Linda with push ups but she did not appreciate it.

Today it is nice and cool. A brief reprieve before summer.

Disappointment

Linda left her phone on vibrate and woke up late. She did not have time to take me for a walk this morning. She was very apologetic.

It was such a gorgeous morning. I hope she will walk me this evening.

I've walked almost 90 miles.

A walk!

Linda got her butt out of bed early and took me for a walk. We walked .63 miles. I was so excited that I pooped twice. Linda only brought one bag. Fortunately, I pooped in some bushes the first time, so the bag was available the second time.

Tomorrow there will be lots of people in the yard. Walter is having a yard sale. Getting rid of stuff. He moved my bag of dog food and that confused Linda this morning. She did find it eventually by using her eyes. I suppose I could have pointed it to her. How can she not smell that glorious food?

I can get used to the morning walks.
