Forums Motto:
basement is still flooding. We are in the midst of a Pineapple Express event. The weather peeps describe it as storms that are like bowling balls, lined up to bring us wind and rain. Not fun. We still have some of those bowling balls headed our way.
The best part of today was this afternoon when I went to Interlaken. First, I saw Peggie Sue and Zurri up on one of the paths with their peeps. Peggie Sue's pop was throwing a stick for her, so I ran right up there and chased around. Poor Zurri! He had to stay on his leash. When I got bored I ran back down to my peeps, and we continued on our usual walk--they walk, I run! There were loads of weird mushrooms springing up all over. They feel really weird under your paws. Everything is wet because we are still between storms. We will get more rain tonight, so it will be wetter yet!
I don't know how it is where all of you pups live, but Seattle is a great place at Halloween. Never mind that some people refuse to acknowledge this great holiday. Yesterday we found out about a great place: a Halloween house in the neighborhood right by one of my favorite parks that has its own website. Just take a look at
trickortreathouse.com (don't forget the www. part!) There are skeletons with amazing colorful costumes, carved pumpkins of many different styles, treasure troves all around! And the pumpkins have been carved with squirrel teeth, if you can imagine how painstaking that must be. What talented peeps!
