Arrival Story:
It was a cloudy, chilly November day, I was a young pup wondering the streets dragging my chain as I'd just freed myself and had decided the first thing to do was search for food. I was very hungry because the folks that had me tied up didn't feed me very much, and were pretty mean to me. On my new adventure, I found some trash that had been dumped with yummy Taco Bell leftovers. While I was eating the first meal I'd had in quite awhile, this really nice lady walked up to me and offered me a treat. After a quick looking over, I summed her up to be a nice person, and well, I didn't think twice! We walked back to her house, and she fed me a real nice meal - the most food I'd ever seen! But then she gave me a bath - yuck! Then she made up this soft warm bed for me to lay down and take a nap. I hadn't slept on anything that soft and warm before, and I stayed there for 2 days! This nice lady said she couldn't let me stay with her forever because she worked a lot, so she tried to find me a new home. She listed me with several adoption agencies, but I was convinced I was going to stay with her. I worked very hard at my obedience training, I always made her laugh with my silly outlook on life, I took her on lots of walks, I kept her company when she would sit down to read a book, and I would curl up in the bed with her at night to keep her warm. Finally I won her over and I'm now living with her happily and forever!

Bio:
Wow! I can't believe how long we've been together. Clifford has come a long way from where he started as a pup chained up in someone's backyard. He worked very hard at his training, and he has turned out to be the greatest dog in the universe, and I can't sing his praises enough. Every year on the date I found him, November 5th, we celebrate with a Taco Bell dinner. For Clifford - Chicken Soft Taco Please :)!
