Arrival Story:
Stella was taken away from a "professional" athlete in Portland after she was found running loose with fresh puncture wounds and bruises. Her previous "owner" pled guilty to animal abuse charges after an investigation into allegations of dog fighting. She lived at OHS for about 4 months awaiting the trial, afterwards she was transfered to HSCO where we met and fell in love. I was honored with the acceptance of my application to adopt this special girl. I love her so much!

Bio:
I named Stellaluna the first day I saw her! The children's book of the same name is about a bat that lives in the wrong home for awhile-kind of like my girl, plus, well.........those ears!!!!
