Miracle dog!

Nine months since my surgery and I'm hale and hearty! Vet says I'm a survivor! Winter is my favorite season and I'm bouncing all over town! It's good to be alive!

I didn't feel so good all of a sudden and my mom took me to emergency. They said I had a splenic hemangiosarcoma. I had emergency surgery and they took out my spleen, the ruptured tumor, and a big blood clot. I'm feeling better now, but my mom is fearful that the cancer has spread and may come back within 6 mos. She has me on a holistic organic diet, which is really tasty, but I get impatient since it takes her about 20 minutes to whip it together. I had lots of visitors after my surgery and I know that I am very loved. My mom says that she cherishes every day we have together.
