Arrival Story:
My adored airedale cross of 10 years had died and I saw an ad for airedale puppies that said "call for interview". Met the breeder, who owned both parents and cared for the 10 puppies as if she had given birth to them herself. She allowed me to adopt one of her precious puppies because I assured her that he would go everywhere with me, which he does. At 90 lb, Benny is one of the largest in the litter and definitely the smartest! He's the best boy in the world, and that's why his nickname is Perfect!
Bio:
Benny has a loud, booming bark and can sound very fearsome, which is great when we're walking alone at night. But once he bounds up to anyone, he just sniffs them and turns into a giant curly teddy bear. He could never hurt a fly.

Nine months since my surgery and I'm hale and hearty! Vet says I'm a survivor! Winter is my favorite season and I'm bouncing all over town! It's good to be alive!

I didn't feel so good all of a sudden and my mom took me to emergency. They said I had a splenic hemangiosarcoma. I had emergency surgery and they took out my spleen, the ruptured tumor, and a big blood clot. I'm feeling better now, but my mom is fearful that the cancer has spread and may come back within 6 mos. She has me on a holistic organic diet, which is really tasty, but I get impatient since it takes her about 20 minutes to whip it together. I had lots of visitors after my surgery and I know that I am very loved. My mom says that she cherishes every day we have together.
