Up the rocks on Carmel beach to Pebble Beach golf course! She actually did that once.

Dancing and barking around you on your arrival.

Arrival Story:
Before the days of the internet, I got a call from a vet that a breeder had brought a 3 yr. old bitch in to be put to sleep bcuz her 4th litter (!!) had become puss balls. I was on the rescue waiting list and I agreed to take her and pay all vet bills.

Bio:
Born 26 June 1988, Died of kidney failure 13 February 1998. Cass was a tiny little Cairn-- 13 to 14lbs. usually. Quite the standard. I say this to give you a visual of one day at my home in Fresno.... I hear thumping noises at the back door. Cassie had come through the dog door but she was unable to pull through... A GIANT ROOF RAT SHE JUST KILLED!!! It must have been 16" long without the tail and had just been killed. It was bigger than she was!! Cassie was very kind hearted and was my Cheyenne's soul mate. When she died much too young of kidney failure at age 9, Cheyenne pretty much laid down and died-- although it took 1 1/2 yrs.-- he was never the same and I will always feel guilty for not knowing the signs of kidney failure sooner.
