Tissues

I have decided that my favorite new activity is chewing up tissue. In fact, today I knew that while Mommy was in the shower, she couldn't stop me from shredding tissues. I don't know why she wants to stop me from eating tissues anyway; Mommy knows tissues are soft, fluffy, white, and chewable. I love how easy they are to shred into tiny, itty-bitty bits. Mommy got out of the shower and stepped all over my lovely shredded tissues and they stuck to her feet. I wanted her to see how wonderfully I ripped up those tissues, so I left them right in front of the shower for her to see. When we got to Grandpa's house (where Mommy works), I found another nice big box of tissues, and once again, ripped them and the box into bits! It was so much fun! I'm so good at this, I plan on searching for tissues to tear up every day! Wish me luck!

Going to School

Mommy and Daddy took me to school on Tuesday. I wanted to play with all the great friendly dogs at school, but mommy and daddy wanted me to do lots of sits, downs, and heels. Auntie Sue (my trainer) is really nice and carries a little pouch with yummy liver treats in it! I love her; she always says I am a "good dog," a "beautiful dog," and gives me lots of nice pats. I was a very good girl in class; I knew it was important to mommy and daddy that I do well. Auntie Sue had nothing but wonderful things to say about my mommy and how she raised me. I could tell that mommy was very proud of me.

After class, we got to go to the pet store, and mommy bought me a new toy. She was very worried that I would chew it up, but bought it anyway. Of course I want to chew it up...isn't that what toys are for? I couldn't wait to get home and play with my new toy, but mommy said that it was a special toy for me to play with when I am home alone. It's a neat soft puzzle box, and has squeaky balls inside of it. I have to work really hard to get the squeaky balls out of the four holes on the side of it! It's now my favorite toy; and I can't wait for mommy and daddy to leave me alone at home so I can play with it. I guess being alone isn't so bad after all...maybe I will bury my toy in the backyard, so mommy and daddy can't find it and take it away when they get home. Hmmmm....

Going with Mommy to Work

Today I got to go with my mommy to work! Yay! I hate it when mommy leaves me home by myself. I love riding in the car on the way to work. I love how the wind feels in my face, and how my ears flap around as we go! It's so fun and feels so good. Mommy even rolled the window down for me, so I could get my head outside for a better look at everything. You know, there are other dogs riding in cars with their mommys and daddys too. I love it when we pull up next to a doggy in another car. They look as happy as I am! We drove by a beautiful park, but mommy didn't stop, even when I whined a little. She just doesn't get it! A day at the park would be so much better than a day at work. *Sigh*

Anyway, we got to work, and that old dog Blue was there again! He doesn't like me very much. He never wants to play with me; he just likes to sleep a lot. I was very excited about being at mommy's work. I wanted mommy to play rope-tug with me, but she wanted to sit down in front of the computer thing. She said, "Not now, Felony." Gee, she sure can be boring sometimes. I decided to chew on pool toys while she worked. Mommy found me chewing on them, and wasn't very happy about it. She took them away and gave me my Nylabone instead. She doesn't understand that the pool toys were much better...they were sooo easy to chew up and destroy.

Oh well, it's nearly time to go home now. Hopefully mommy will stop at the park on the way home so we can go sniff and explore every single blade of grass there!
