Arrival Story:
I had a sheltie growing up named Shane that I adored. When our son turned 2 we decided to get a dog. I bought Shana from a woman in Howell, MI. She was the only puppy in the box that seemed "nonplussed" while I was looking them over so I took her home, thinking she was the calmer one of the bunch. (right!)

Bio:
She's so pretty... and she "herds" the kids back into the yard. "Update": my sweet doggy crossed the rainbow bridge on 1/26/08. I can't wait to see her again someday. We miss you Shaney!

My last visit to the vet didn't go so well. We learned I have a heart condition and lots of tartar. Mom told the vet that I sometimes sit down for a rest when we go for a walk-- the vet said not to push it. Now I have to get an ekg =( Getting old is no fun!

 

I hate the kennel!

OH my GOD I was so stressed out this weekend! My parents left me at the kennel and it was so noisy! The people put me in the cat room for some quiet... I even had, well, issues! Anyway, I'm safe and sound back at home on my favorite rug. Phew!

Honestly, how could she bring that rotten puppy here?! In the midst of all of my sophisticatedness and now THIS?! He is forever stealing my chewy treats and being an all around pain in the butt. I do like to play with him sometimes though, when mom isn't looking (ssshhhhh!)
