 Birthday: October 11th 1997
 Likes: He loved his family.

Pet-Peeves: The dogtor!

Favorite Toy: His rope toys...he loved tug-o-war

Favorite Food: Anything!!The only things I can think of that he didn't like were grapes and popcorn.

Best Tricks: Tricks? What tricks?! Hehehe

Arrival Story: We had just lost our beloved mixed breed Tabu, and we were devastated. I had always wanted a German Shepherd, so when we found White Shepherds in the newspaper for sale, we jumped on it. When we got there, there were 3 puppies left. They were about 3 months old. 2 males and 1 female. One of the males and the female were running around playing and having a great time. Frisco was hanging back, looking pitiful. He had a terrible staff infection on his face. He couldn't even breathe through his nose. He wasn't very pretty, I'm afraid. I looked at him and said, "That's the one I want!" The owner tried to talk us out of it b/c he was sickly, but I wouldn't hear of it. He wasn't even doing anything for the infection except putting udder cream on it!!! I couldn't leave him there. We took him to the vet and got his infection cleared up (after many weeks) and he was gorgeous!! Not only that, but a sweet, loyal best friend! The only evidence of the staff infection was where the hair didn't grow back on his nose and chin. It just made him cuter than ever and more special.

Bio: Affectionate, sweet, and sooooo loyal!! You couldn't ask for a better dog. He passed on peacefully in his sleep from a heart condition. He was in his favorite spot, in my room laying on the A/C vent. My Scar-Face Pookie Bear is with Tabu on the Rainbow Bridge waiting for me.

Lend Me A Pup
I will lend to you for awhile
a puppy, God said
For you to love him while he lives
and to mourn for him when he is gone.
Maybe for twelve or fourteen years,
or maybe for two or three
But will you, till I call him back
take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you
and (should his stay be brief)
you'll always have his memories
as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise that he will stay,
since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught below
I want this pup to learn.
I've looked the whole world over
in search of teachers true
And from the folk that crowd life's land
I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love
Nor think the labour vain
Nor hate me when I come to take my pup back again

My beautiful Pookie Bear, I miss you more than words can say. I know the last month of your life wasn't easy, and I am so sorry I couldn't do more to make you comfortable and happy. I feel the guilt of that everyday. You were so loyal and so sweet. A gentle giant. I so hope that over there beyond the Rainbow Bridge, you are running and playing like you couldn't do for so long here on earth. I always felt safe with you here. Even though we lived by ourselves, I never worried that anything would happen to me, b/c you would protect me to the end. There was never any doubt about that. Thank you, my beautiful son, for your devotion and loyalty. I hope you know how much you are loved and missed. I will see you again one day. Wait for me. But, of course, you will. That's just the kind of precious, loyal soul you are. RIP Pook. This is a special Tail of Devotion
