Arrival Story:
We adoptd Calvin from a no-kill shelter when he was under a year (CARA in Sanford, NC). My dog, Brandy (14 yrs old), died on a Tuesday and we adopted Calvin the next Saturday :). Not to replace Brandy, but he needed a home and we needed a dog to love. He had been fostered by a great couple who volunteer at the shelter.
