Arrival Story: When my husband and I were dating at the time we went to South Beach, Florida. As we were walking with a friend of ours back to our Jeep from a bar, we spotted two women and a child, pushing a baby stroller with a dog inside. My husband and I chuckled at that sight. As we walked passed them, one of ladies says, "Do you want to buy a dog?" We turned around and she draws the covers and there, to our surprise was the momma and her three tiny balls of fur (one boy and two girls) cuddled up together sleeping. We each grabbed a puppy. My husband took the male puppy and immediately became attached to him. Well, my husband could not resist and purchased him right there on the spot. We decided to name him "Brownsville" after the name of the neighborhood where my husband works as a police officer. Well the little pup faired the road trip back to NY. He was not actually welcomed at first, but eventually my husband's family warmed up to him slowly. Now they can't get enough of him.

Bio: He was born in South Beach, Florida. He was one of three puppies, he has two sisters. One of the sisters had the same color coat like he does and the other sister was all black. His mother was a full-grown pomerainian and his father was a long-haired chiuhaua.
August 11, 2010 - We lost our little guy today. He had to be put down due to his deteriorating health. He live a good life. He was loved by all of us and he loved us all just the same. He will be severely missed. He's been through a lot and fought hard all the way through, but it was his time to go. We will always love you Brownsville!!! Rest in peace.
