Never thought life could be so good

One year anniversary

Well, this coming week marks the one year anniversary of being a free bully. One full year of food, love, food, people, food, oh yeah, and food. I am so greatful for everything the two leggers have done for me, but even more greatful for all the words of encouragement and support I've gotten from all my Dogster friends.

My life may not have been fair, but I now understand that not all people are like that. So many people love me just because of who I am . Some people have even been so kind as to contact CBBR to ask how to donate for my medical bills! I am just amazed. My foster mom (she has demoted herself back to foster since my kennel pal Susan came along) is in shock. She put me up on Dogster because the rest of my pack is up here. She never realized what an impact I would have on the pooches and people.

I'm not really sure how to say thank you all for your love and support of me (and my rescue humans) other than just to keep on going, wagging, smiling and being a very good, goofy bully. Every single pup here has helped me on my path to being the dog I am now; I cannot say thank you enough!!

Many wags of thanks,
Buford T. Pi'Bull

I've been spending a lot of time at my foster mom's work lately. She works at the vet clinic that cleaned my teeth for me, took the icky tumor out of my mouth and that has a whole bunch of really nice people always willing to give me treats. I can't stay home during the day 'cause I have a lot of accidents and my people don't want me to be stuck like that.

What is really cool about going to work is that there is a super nice girl in the kennel that I adore (the two leggers call her Susan), and she adores me. She is still in high school and she told my foster mom she isn't allowed to have any dogs, but she has taken a very special shine to me! Every weekend I get to go with her out to a farm to play, and she takes me through the drive through to get french fries (I think they are the yummiest things!), and she loves to take me for nice long walks, and she even lets me pick out my own toys and treats at the store. I get to visit her family and friends at their houses! Susan has taught me how to cuddle on a couch and watch movies even! I try to be the best dog I can be for her 'cause I sure like spending my time with her.

My foster mom has set up an agreement with the other two-leggers at CBBR that Susan gets to be my sponsor mommy! Susan was so happy when she heard the news and so was I! I finally have a human that loves me for just being me. I know my foster mom and dad love me, but this is different. Susan is my very own person. I used to dream of the day I had my very own human; a day where I didn't have to share with lots of other doggies. I'm just so tail-waggin' happy! I may not get to live with my Susan, but she and I spend lots of time together, go for lots of special walks and just enjoy each other....what more could a pit bully ask for??????
