Arrival Story: She was taken a way from her owner due to abuse and neglect. I rescued her when she was four. Her health is failing now but she has been a good dog. She was a little nervous in the beginning but she came around.
Bio: 10/01/2006 Leah lost her battle with degenerative myleopathy. I had to make the painful decision to put her suffering to rest. She was so courageous through it all. She stayed strong and brave. She was a sweetheart of a girl and we lost a gem. I know she has crossed over the bridge and is with her family chasing chipmonks and butterflys with no pain and no suffering. She is deeply missed by all of us especially by her doggie family, Manny and Barkley. We Love You Leah
Today is my birthday. I am so happy that so many of my dogster pals help me celebrate it. Sometimes when you are at the Rainbow Bridge you wonder if anyone will remember that it is your special day but that wasn't the case today. I had angel friends and friends down on earth sending me birthday wishes and pressies. It really meant a lot to me and made my day extra special. The Bridge is certainly a special place and birthdays are really great. Even though we have a birthday, we never get older and we are always healthy. That's a wonderful birthday gift in itself. Dogster is the greatest place on Earth so I am just surrounded by Love. Thank you to all who help me celebrate my special day. Angel kisses and Hugs to all of you.
