Arrival Story:
Before I met my husband my mother-in-law adopted a puppy from the local pound. My husband had assured her that the pup wouldn't get very big. Sadie grew and grew and got fed up with being confined to the kitchen. When I met her she had destroyed the new lino in the kitchen and developed a bad habit of shredding anything she could get ahold of. She had a taste for baby bibs, dishtowels and anything made of paper. When my husband and I married, had a baby and bought a house we agreed to take Sadie. She has full run of our house and a nice sized fenced yard to run in. She no longer shreds things out of boredom and frustration. She is also much calmer and great with our 2 children (7 and 3).

Bio:
She's said to be a beagle/bassett mix. She has short legs and a long body. She's almost shaped like a gigantic dachshund.
