Weekends in Chicagoland

What a great weekend! WuuHuu! It snowed Friday night so that means i got to go out and play in the snow Saturday morning while my mom was snapping pictures while the soft, golden early morning sunlight still kissed the snow laden pond out in the back yard. i ran like a nut back and forth, kicking up the snow, and sniffing where the rabbits were hanging out the night before in my back yard. I was looking forward to me and mom just hanging out together and having fun all day, but my mom had to go out and take my cousin Maggie to the doggie spa for the full treatment. ugh! So that meant i was stuck indoors watching from the window while our neighbors dug their cars out of the snow. how boring! But then mom came home and we got to play fetch and i got to play outside in the snow again! Later, i snuggled down to sleep dreaming about all the fun i am going to have tomorrow.
