I've been a very good boy lately... right now I'm lying on the couch as I dictate this to mom (I may be bright, but I don't have opposable thumbs!) all tuckered out for my busy busy day.
This is a typical day in my life (in the winter at least):
noon-1pm - Wake up, stretch, run outside for a quick pee, then run back inside shivering and whimpering.
1:15pm - Mealtime!
1:30pm - Jump on daddy with my cold paw pads to wake him up so that SOMEONE will maybe think about feeding me. Mommy has weird ideas about how often puppies need to be fed.
1:40-7pm - Naptime!
7pm - Mealtime!
7:02pm - Act really really hungry so that maybe Mom will forget that she already fed me.
9:30pm - Walktime! Or more like limp around the block really really fast so that I can go back inside because dear god it is NIPPY out there. Sometimes my feet get so cold I need to limp on just 2 legs. I can't imagine why anyone would find that funny, but Mommy keeps laughing at me.
10pm - Hyper hyper play time!
10:40pm - Bedtime!
Today I went to the off leash park for the second time with my friend Jessie, who is a big fierce-looking German Shepherd mix, and my mommy. We met lots of big dogs like Jessie, and a few little ones like me. Near the end, I was getting tired, since it's a big park and my legs are awfully little, but Jessie was still full of energy, so my mommy threw her ball for her a few times. Suddenly, another dog went after Jessie's ball, and they started fighting over it. Soon all the other dogs started to join in. It wasn't a very serious fight (no one got hurt), but I was so scared that I ran to the other side of the field and hid in the bushes when no one was looking. As soon as all the other dogs calmed down, everyone started looking for me. At first I was shaking too much to venture out of my safe spot, but finally I ran back to my mommy as fast as I could, and collapsed in her lap for a long snooze.
