Arrival Story:
We adopted him from a very nice lady who had to give him up because she was moving. He was never afraid and felt very safe with us until he met Wishbone. It took them a while to get use to each other.

Bio:
***Bear passed away on June 7, 2007. He had been vomiting and weak for the past 8 days. He also could not hold down any food. The doctor's said he had pancreatic cancer, but this diagnosis would not be final until the biopsy results were back. We wanted to wait until the results were back just in case something could have been done to save Bear. My family was feeding Bear baby food through a syringe and and giving him the best care they could to try to bring back his health. Last night (June 6) Bear started vomiting blood and we made the decision that we could wait no longer. It was time for Bear to stop suffering. At 12:30 on June 7 my father and sister took Bear on his final car ride and stayed with him until the euthanization process was complete. We are all heart broken, but we know it is for the best. Bear suffers no more and has been restored to full health. We love you Bear.*** Bear is very sweet and calm, but is easily made nervous, and does not demand the attention that Wishbone does. Bear would rather be alone than have people all around him.
