First trip to the dog park!

Yesterday I got to go to the dog park for the first time!!!!!! My mommy and daddy took me after church because it was such a nice day outside. It was a little windy, but the sun was nice and warm! I was a little scared since I haven't been around many other dogs, but I was a good girl and didn't bark. I did meet a cute little girl Chihuahua, but she looked kind of funny because she had lots more hair than me (mom said she was a long-haired Chihuahua). After we tested out the waters in the small doggie area we took a walk down to the pond and watched the big dogs jump and swim. They were really silly. Then we went home, and I feel asleep in the car. Daddy said they were going to start taking me more, and I can't wait!

I love the outdoors

Yesterday I found the coolest thing to play with outside...a grasshopper! I saw it, pounced on it, and tried to eat it until my mom made me stop. I thought it was cool, but she said it wasn't. She's just no fun!

Sneaky!!

I was SOOO super sneaky last night at getting my mommy's attention. I was getting annoyed that she wasn't paying attention to me because she was helping daddy with some work, so I started yelping like I was in pain. Knowing that she would drop what she was doing with daddy to make sure I was ok, I figured it wouldn't hurt. I kind of felt bad because she was really worried that there was something wrong with me, but I really only wanted her attention! hehe.

I like play time!

I woke my mommy up at 5:30 AM this morning! She was not very happy with me, but I didn't want to sleep in my room anymore. She was very nice and let me sleep with her for a while. I like to sleep curled up right next to her. Then we got up and she feed me, and then we went outside to go potty. I waiting for her to get back from work, so we can play some more.

Learning to sleep in my own room.

So, my mommy has decided that I get to have my own room (the laundry room). During the day when she is in class or at work I don't whine or bark, but at night I hate it because I know my mommy is home and I want to sleep with her. She thinks that I need to learn to sleep in my own room because I'm a big girl. Everytime I start to bark or whine she says NO. I know that she stands right outside my room so I walk back into my crate. Then she thinks I've gone to sleep, but as soon as she walks away I sneak back to the door and whine again, but she always hears me. I heard her say something about making me a warmer blanket to sleep with so maybe that will make it easier to sleep in my crate at night.

I'm really excited about this weekend because my grandma and great-grandma are coming to see me. I hope I don't get scared and bark at them because mommy doesn't like it when I bark at her friends.

Potty Training

I have started sleeping in my crate at night, because mommy told me I haven't been a very good girl because I don't use the puppy pads to go to the bathroom. She is very proud of me because now when she wakes me up in the morning and lets me out of my crate I go to the bathroom outside like a good girl. I am hoping that when I learn to use the bathroom in the right places she will let me sleep with her again!

I got a new pair of PJ's that my mommy made, but they are a little bit too big. I am soooo tiny that it's hard to gets clothes to fit. I really love my PJ's, so hopefully mommy can adjust them to fit me better.

Well it's time for my mid-morning nap!

Late night cuddles and early morning kisses

Last night mommy let me sleep with her. I slept way down at the end of the bed at her feet, but made sure not to get kicked. This morning I woke up at 6:30 and woke mommy up with kisses all over her face. I was hungry, but had to go outside first. I think she wanted me to go wee wee, but I didn't want to. Then mommy feed me breakfast, next I layed in the sun.

From Chloé's mom,

I am planning a trip back home for Labor Day weekend. I have taken her in the car on short trips, so I hope she does well for the 1 1/2 hour ride to my mom's house. She has not seen her yet, and wants to. She is also helping me make some clothes for Chloé.

A Trip to Mesa Park

Today was Chloé's second walk on a leash outside and trip to the park. She did so good walking. She insisted on walking on the outside of the sidewalk and right next to me. It was a little slow, but she's so small it probably felt like running to her.

Once we got to the park we let her off her leash so she could run around. She sniffed out almost half the park. After some kids that were on the play ground left we put her on the playground to take some photos. She did great until we put her down and she tried to eat the wood chips!!

After tying to eat wood chips we took her back home, and she walked almost the whole way home even through the puddles on the sidewalk. She was so prissy and tried to walk through the driest parts. It was so funny!!!!!!
