Guess what? I escaped from my pen today. It took a good 4.5 days of planning to pull it off, but I did it. Once free, I ran to the kitchen to taunt my brother. He was a little surprised and I think maybe a little impressed. He asked me to open his gate so we could be cool and run, play and romp all around the house until mommies got home. I tried and tried to no avail... Well, actually just gave up... I got bored and honestly I was a little hungry. My food bowl was inside my pen and I couldn't get back into my pen. I never thought about how I would actually get back into my pen. What to do? I looked to my older brother for advice. He dared me to go up the stairs. He said all big dogs go upstairs and that there was food up there. I've never walked up the stairs before. The stairs are scary because they're open at the bottom where I could fall through. Of course, I took the dare, I was hungry... slowly but surely climbed up all 14 stairs. and you know what, I made it to the top! but then I got confused, sat down cried and wimpered because I couldn't get down (see pic 5). My brother's a liar. There was no food, no newspaper, no mommies to save me... nothing. It was traumatic. and I got in trouble when mommy got home and rescued me. I'm never gonna escape from my pen again.
