I adopted Stella from The North Shore Animal League in Long Island,NY in Sept 2003. She was rescued from a shelter in Connecticut where she was going to be put to sleep and taken there. She was the only dog who jumped up and put her head on my arm from inside the kennell and from that moment on we knew she was coming home with us.
