Doggie Dynamics:

Quick Bio:

February 13th 1994

His mommy and grandma

He doesn't like Sammy

Favorite Toy:
a stuffed horse that makes a horse sound

Favorite Food:
It's a toss up between greenies, beets, "bread n gravy" (pizza crust) and pooh.

Favorite Walk:
the one leading up to bed to go ni-night

Best Tricks:
He glides on his belly using his back legs to push and tucks his front legs under him. He also "greets" but only to his mommy and not in front of others.

Arrival Story:
I'll admit it. I bought him at a puppy store. I went in there looking for a red dachshund on 2 occassions but there were only black and tans. On my second visit, he was facing the glass and I saw his eyes. From that moment on I knew he was my special son. I never had to train him to be house broken, he just knew. In 2000 I took him to Cape Cod with me (he loves planes, limos and boat rides) but unfortunately his back went out completely. I flew him back to Illinois and he had surgery. two months later he underwent a second surgery. Again, I rehabbed him. I am happy to say that he walks, runs, plays, wags his tail and does things he shouldn't do like sneaks up the stairs and jumps onto the chair. His walk isn't pretty and smooth like it used to be but he is alive, well and not in any pain. He definitely is my miracle dog. Update, miracle dog needed a 3rd back surgery the week before Christmas 2005. He is recovering well but that is a given since his mommy is a canine rehab therapist

In May of 2005 mom formed her company, Dogs In Motion-In Home Canine Rehabilitation & Wellness. We think it should have been called Dachshunds in Motion but mom says that we can not dachscriminate against other dog breeds. We did get our picture on her company's website though. Check us out at

10/4/06: All of us dachshunds helped mom to form the Suburban Chicagoland Dachshund Lovers. There is an online email community that mom is always typing to _Lovers/
and then there are the monthly social get togethers that we get to go to and play with all of our dachshund friends.
