Arrival Story:
About a week after I had to put down my beloved Cocker Spaniel, Zack , (he had cancer) I couldn't stand not having a dog around. Zack had been a constant companion for eight years and it was so lonely without him. So I set out to search for a new companion, someone who was completely opposite of Zack. I found Gracie at the Humane Society. There were many cute puppies and doggies there, but I knew the right one would pick me . I prayed for a sign that she was the right dog for me and, at that moment, she jumped up from my lap and gave me a huge, slobbery puppy kiss. I was in love! She was twelve weeks old at the time and she has been sharing my bed ever since!
