Today is my birthday

Today is my second birtday. I can't believe I will already be two. These past two years have just flown by so fast. I was born on Martin Luther King Day...just 10 days after Pepper's death (my Mommy's previous springer). I was named after Pepper and and my parents decided Luther should be my middle name in honor of Martin Luther King. I will be enjoying bones that have flavored filling inside. Happy Birthday to my sisters and brother as well.

Getting old can be so tuff.

My grandparents Brittany Spaniel Brett is almost 14 year old and isn't feeling so well the last couple of days. All he wants to do is sleep and he did get sick yesterday. He has been drinking water but has only eaten a little bit of cheese. He also wont be one of his paws on the floor. My granparents think at this point he doesn't need to go to the vet but Mommy disagrees. Poor Brett...lets hope he just has a bug and feels better soon.

Part 2. Well Brett had to be rushed to the vet on Friday. When my parents got home he was pretty bad. He went in with 105 fever and was extremely weak. All the test came back negative and now the vet thinks it is Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever or some other type of tick disease...we will know for sure today. Brett is on medication and is doing very well. The vet said even on tick prevention it does not mean your dog can't get sick from ticks.

Let it snow!

So the mountains have been getting lots of snow already and it is still summer. Mom says it is way to early for snow...she is crazy. Hopefully the snow makes it down to Denver tonight because I wanna play in the snow. The minute I see the snow I wake my parents out to take me outside to play...they don't mind if it is 1am. I make them go out LOTS so I can play.
