Sassy girl, my pretty little baby,
I just want you to know that I love you and I will always do what's right for you. You have a long way to go, and I'll be beside you every step of the way. Right now, it don't look as if you will ever open your eyes, and I do not know at this time if an operation will fix it. You appear to have been born without eyes. If nothing can be done, I am prepared to do the following:
I will carry you every where you need and want to go.
I will hand feed you if need be.
I will always make sure you know that you are loved.
I will keep you safe and happy as can be.
I will give you the best of care I can possibly give you.
You will go to your grammy's house every day when I have to work cause I don't want you to be alone.
I will make sure you know where your water and food bowl is and that you can get to them any time you want to.
You will have lots of toys to play with and you'll know where they are and how to get them when you want them.
You will go for walks to get exercise because I know you won't be able to run and play like other puppies do.
You will always sleep with mommy and daddy no matter what.
When you need to tee-tee or poo-poo, I'll be the one to make sure you go outside or on the puppy pads.
In all Sassy, you'll be a very pampered pup to say the least. I'm not prepared to put you to sleep as others might would. Being blind isn't the worse that could happen. It's not the end of the world and I don't want you to ever feel that way. You are my beautiful little girl, and I believe that God brought you into this world for me to love and care for. You just need lots more attention and care than your doggie mom and dad, but that's okay. With all the colors that run through you, you would make some one a very beautiful baby, but you'll stay mine cause I don't trust anyone else to care for you and give you the love and attention that I will.
I hope you have a long and wonderful life ahead of you Sassy girl.
Sassy girl, in this tail of devotion to you, there are a few things that have changed and I just wanted to post them here. First of all, you don't go to your grammy's house every day yet cause she's been sick and in the hospital. Second of all, you do run and play just like a normal puppy except you run into things and when that happens you just back up and start again. You do sleep with mommy and daddy, right in the middle but sometimes you act like you don't want to be on the bed so we have a big old body pillow right next to your daddy's side of the bed and that's where you sleep when your not in the bed with us. Everything else is pretty much the same. You are getting out and about with mommy more and more and by next summer, you'll be swimming with us in the pool. Your my baby girl and your daddy's little sweet girl. We hope you know how much you are loved.

Well, my mommy has added me to this thing called dogster. I don't know what it's all about as I'm still too little to know much. I don't know but mommy and daddy were talking last night that mommys seems to think that I'm gonna be blind. Now her and daddy have thought about their options but mommy said they are going to keep me. I'll always get special treatment cause I won't know what to do without my mommy and daddy. I don't want to be blind, but if I am I know mommy will take good care of me. She bought me my very own stuffed doggie yesterday and I slept with it last night until aunt Sinda's pup, the only one left of her's got in my box and started messing with me. I just started screaming my head off and my daddy came got me and put me in the bed with him and mommy. That's were I slept for the rest of the night, curled up between mommy and daddy. I think that's were I belong but my doggie daddy thinks so too. He curled up beside me and protected me for whatever it was he thought I needed protection from. He loves me too. My doggie mom was tending to my sisters and really don't have time for me now so my human mommy has started to feed me and care for me. I'm so glad I have a mommy like I do.
