Back home for good!

Last Friday, June 27, 2008, Mom and Dad picked me up at the breeders house. I said good bye to my 3 boys, who are going to wonderful homes, and good bye to Eva, who took real good care of me while I was there. Then Mom carried me to the car where my family was waiting. I was so glad to see everyone - Gabbie, Max, Claudia - even the big guy Vinne and that silly cat, Rory. Dad says they've got my pink slip now, I think it means I won't ever have to leave my family again.

more puppies?

Sometimes it's SO hard being beautiful! Since I only had 2 puppies the last time, the breeder asked me to have one more litter for her. I love being a mom, and I'm real good at it, so what the heck.

On May 23rd my three sons were born. They're all beautiful, and so far, healthy! In a couple weeks I'll be back home with my mom and dad, and this time it' s forever.

my little girl!

Mom and Dad sure surprised me! One day they brought my little girl home to live with us! She needed special care, on account of her back legs not working too well. But Mom and Dad are taking such good care, of her, she's had both legs fixed! Only now she's a little tomboy, and always wants to rough house. Which is fine, until last week she was chasing Max, and the silly girl broke her front leg! Now she's got a splint on. I kept telling her not to play so rough, but these kids, they just don't listen!!!

There's no place like home!

Finally the day came! September 16, as promised, Mom and Dad came to take me home! My puppies are growing, and will be going to their new homes soon. My little girl, she's such a beauty! Unfortunately, her back legs aren't very strong. Her big brother is very protective, and keeps a watchful eye on her all the time, especially when someone picks her up. He sure gives them an earful - the way he carries on until she's back next to him again. I'm sure my baby girl will go to a wonderful home where someone will take care of her special needs.

As for me, I sure am glad to be home again!! I missed Gabbie and everyone so much!! Mom and Dad built a special place in the yard where we can all run around and play - it's great!!! There's a new addition to the family, and I'm not so sure about him - his name is Vinny, and he's HUGE!! They say he used to race, but wasn't very good at it, so now he lives with us. We all have to be very careful around his feet, 'cause he's kinda clumsy, and doesn't seem to know we're there. Sometimes he wants to play with us in the yard, but when he starts running around like a nut, we all pretty much run and hide. Last weekend we went to the beach - I had almost forgotten how much fun it was to run, run, run on the sand - I didn't ever want to stop!

I am SO VERY HAPPY!! There's NO PLACE like HOME!!!

Mom and Dad's visits

Every Sunday Mom and Dad bring Gabbie to visit me! I get so excited to see them all I just run around and around not knowing who to greet first! Gabbie usually wins, cause she's easier to reach, and always just as excited as I am.

My puppies are growing, their eyes are open now that they're almost 3 weeks old. My daughter is a petite little thing, and really pretty. My son looks like a little sausage! All he wants to do is eat! They both have wonderful homes waiting for them where there are other Iggy's to show them the ropes.

As for me, I can't wait to get home again. Mom and Dad said September 16th is the day!!

I'm a mom! Again!

The big event was on Monday, August 6th. I delivered 2 healthy puppies, a girl first, then a boy. I'm feeling much thinner already! Soon I'll be back with my family, I can't wait!!

Pregnancy progress report

Well, I've only got one week to go before my pupppies are born. I am down at the Jersey shore with my family. We come here almost every weekend when the weather is nice. Mom and Dad take us to run on the beach, and that is my favorite thing in the whole world! There's so much room to run, run, run! Gabbie and I take turns chasing each other. When Max is old enough he'll come with us, too, and then I'll show him who's the fastest IG in the world - ME!

Tomorrow I'm going to Eva's house to have my puppies in about a week. Eva promised that I could sleep in her bed at night so I wouldn't be lonely without my family. She's a real nice lady, this will be a great adventure for me. (I'm trying to think positive, can you tell?) Anyway, my family promised to visit me every week. (I think they're afraid I'll forget about them - silly humans!)

I've got morning sickness!

Daddy promised me that I would only have to have one more litter of pups, then never again! This is only the second time - I guess my genes are in demand, being descended from the top winning IG of all time! See, the lady I used to live with is a breeder, and she cared for me a whole lot, and wanted me to have the best home, so she sent me to live with my niece, Gabbie, and her family. Well I sure am glad she did, because I love it here! I've got Gabbie to play with, and we're more like sisters than aunt and niece. Two of Gabbie's puppy sons live with us too, and they're fun to play with, or at least they were, until I got pregnant. Now I just want to sit in my daddy's lap and be loved. So, once I have my puppies, at the breeder lady's house, and they are ready to go out into the world to their new homes, I will be Daddy's Girl forever, and never have to be away again.
