Arrival Story:
Our friend's neighbor's roomate (whew!) neglected to get his pit bull puppy Noni spayed and she got pregnant (duh) and he moved out leaving her in the care of our friend's neighbor. Craig (the neighbor) took wonderful care of Noni and her litter of 7. We first saw Rain at 3 days and it was love at first sight! She looked like a little sausage and had that wonderful puppy smell. It was really hard to wait to bring her home - we waited 9 long weeks so she could hang with her siblings and learn dog stuff from her mom. Luckily Craig found homes for all of the other puppies and Noni is now spayed and enjoying a puppy-free adolescence. She and Rain see each other from time to time and are great playmates.
