My Happy Life

Not so happy, but getting better now.

I was finally living a happy go lucky life with my permanent family when everything got flipped upside down. Mommy came up to me last Wednesday morning with the *gulp* leash. *shudders* I don't like being on leashes and I don't like going on car rides and I don't like going away from home... And I had to do all three. :( Mommy took me to the vet and told me that I was getting "fixed" and that she loved me and would come back and get me the next day. I was so scared that I started crying and laid down on the floor and refused to get up. The nurse had to carry me away. I guess I didn't grip the carpet hard enough. I don't really remember much of what happened next. Just that I was really scared and I really wanted to go home. I went to sleep and woke up later and my tummy hurt a little bit. It wasn't too bad. I was mostly just scared. Then there was a storm that night. I don't like storms very much, but the other doggies there told me everything would be ok. That their people always came back. I went back to sleep again, and sure enough, the next day daddy came and got me! I was sooo happy that I ran right into the house when we got home. My tummy still hurt a little, but I talked to my sisters, Luna and Breyona, and they both told me that the same thing happned to them and that it would stop hurtting soon and I'd feel a lot better. I do feel a lot better now. I can run some and roll around with my sisters again, and mommy even got some treats that taste like cookies. My sisters think she got them for all of us, but I'm sure she got them just for me, because I'm such a good, special puppy! But I'm nice. I share :)
