Arrival Story:
During a bout of temporary insanity, we adopted this animal from the city shelter two weeks before we left on a trip to Thailand. She stayed with "Grandma" while we were gone and was reportedly very badly behaved. Fortunately, she is now partly behaviorally rehabilitated.
Bio:
Penny is quite affable and gregarious, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. But that's okay--she has a great, soft nose, which we like to squeeze, and extremely distinguished eyebrows. We think she could portray a serviceable boarhound in a Medieval romance, or maybe a mountain gorilla, if shot from far enough away. She is an ineffective watchdog but a reliable alarm clock.
