Playing!!! Joy will also moo like a cow in her sleep. She is a very vocal little girl!! Sometimes even wakes me up. She knows sit, down, stay, heel. What a smart girl.
Arrival Story:
I was talking to Abby's mom here on Dogster and she gave me the name of this wonderful breeder. When I contacted her she said she only had one female harl in the litter and that I was the only one that had asked about her. When I saw the litter she had, and the little bundle of spots I had to have this little Harl girl. She was the only one in the litter. I couldn't pass up my long time dream and her! I can't thank Abby's mom enough for what she has done!! :)
Bio:
I have been wanting and searching for a Harl Great Dane for years now. I have battled lost jobs and money situations, but now that our family is stable I can finally get my dream girl. Joy is getting bigger and bigger by the day. She is already over 83 pounds at almost 9 months. Mama's little porker!

I keep hearing mom and dad talking about deploying! I hope it is nothing I did wrong. I hope I am not going anywhere! I will promise to be a good girl.
I keep hearing them talk about the military and dad going to a place called IRAQ, and mom keeps talking about what her, us and Owen and going to do. Whatever it is I hope it is fun for us, and I hope my dad comes home safe to us in the near future. I think he is going to be gone awhile!! I am going to miss him tons...not as much as mommy and Owen though.
PLEASE PRAY FOR MY DAD!

So mom started a new job, and I am feeling a tad left out! Kip and I are only home alone for about 5 hours each day! Mom has never had a problem with me before. But the other day I just decided the carpet needed to be replaced. All I did was start tearing out the corner! I thought dad would be proud that I was helping him!
Not so much! Opps! I guess I was making more work for him. I figured they didn't need their damage deposit back on the rental home! :o) I was just trying to make it worth their money! Bad idea!
Mom has now put Kip and I in crates again! :o(

Joy Girl!
Oh girly girl I don't even know where to start with you! You are mom's love bug. You were in my dreams for years and you finally made that dream a reality! You are daddy's big cow! I had to convince Dad to get you, and know he has claimed you as his own! :o)
I love everything about you, from your half blue and half brown eye, to your spotted nose. I love how you fight for all the attention and push your weight around to get your way. You are a true dane with your ability to LEAN!!
I love how after I give you a bath you will tear around the yard.
You are a very striking girl that makes people stop dead in their tracks, and oh and aw over how beautiful you are!
You are a true Brazilian model! Beautiful to look at, but not so bright. You are a clumpsy girl that runs into walls and can trip over her own feet! As long as they are painted a pretty color. Right?
