Arrival Story:
My ex-boyfriend, bought him for me as a first year anniversary/Christmas gift. I didn't know what kind of dog I wanted, but mentioned that a Beagle or Cocker Spaniel would be...interesting. He didn't really like either breed, but sucked it up and began searching the newspapers for puppies. A couple of weeks later, he drove me across town to check out a Beagle litter. The puppies were so cute, I didn' t know which one I liked the most. I would pick one upand then decide on another. Finally, he pointed out this grouchy, chubby, lathargic looking puppy with a little white spot on his back and I just couldn't say no. The breeder's children named him "Speck", which I thought sounded a little too close to something else....so I decided to save him from that horrid name and give him my own.....Miles (after Miles Davis) Shark Attack (AKC name for circling his prey when they're holding food and then snatching it when they're not looking) or aka, Mr. PK Bigglesworth (he's a sexy beast). Miles went through a bit of a traumatic custody battle a couple of years ago. Now, he's living and adjusting well with his mommy and new daddy. He's moved from the big city to the country side - searching for quail eggs, eating the neighbors chickens, hunting rabbits and keeping the coyotes off of his property. Long live a happy Miles!
