Arrival Story:
Leon was a stray dog who got picked up by the dog catcher. He had been at the pound for a whole month when his momma spotted him on an adoption website. It was love at first sight and his momma just knew that he was going to be her baby. He came home that week and got a brand new life.
Bio:
Leon has a very big human family and a big dog family as well. He has human grandparents and great grandparents and even a great-great-grandfather. His dog family includes Uncle Commodore; cousins: Puddles, Zoe, & Louis; best friend/adopted brother Jordan!

Hello everyone! I have been very busy lately, but I wanted to write an entry about something really exciting: my visit to Algood School. My grandmom is a teacher there for boys and girls who are in the fourth grade. Her name is Mrs. Putman. She invited me to come to her class and meet her students. Well, I went and boy, was it so fun. First, I got to meet the boys and girls out on the playground. When you are in the fourth grade, you get to go to this place called a playground and you can swing, play with balls, or just run around with your friends. It was really neat. Then we went somewhere that was called a multi-purpose room. It was big with bleachers and a stage. The students asked my momma questions about me and I showed off a little bit for them. They all petted me and scratched my belly. I was especially glad to see my good buddy Ian who figured out what kind of dog I am: an American bulldog mixed with a boxer and a little bit of boston terrier. I loved visiting the school and I hope I can go back soon to see all my friends.

Well, I have to say that I've had a really busy summer. Every day my momma has taken me to work with her at UT and I've really had to pull my weight. I have to be there at 8:00 in the morning and usually I'm not even ready to wake up until noon, so this is quite a stretch. But I've been toughing it out and going to work every day. Pretty much, I just guard my momma's office and check out anybody who might come in there to make sure they aren't an intruder. I also sit and lay for them in hopes of getting a treat. My best human friend is named Reid and he works with my momma. We play all day long and my favorite thing is to sit in his lap and let him scratch my belly. Of course, i weigh 64 pounds so this is no small feat. When we leave work at 5:00 every day, I pull my leash as hard as I can to get to my favorite spot to use the bathroom. Then its into the car and home for the night. I hope I get paid soon because my bank account is getting kind of low!
