Tails From An Old Timer!!

vets

lucks and me went to the vets for our boosters yesterday. i had to wear my muzzle as i am not too keen on the vets. i always end up growling at them and mum gets worried i may bite so she bought the muzzle just for that! its alright though as i do not have to wear it for long.
as soon as i am out of the vets she takes it off again as she knows i am fine as long as that vet is not poking me! really i am not snappy towards anyone except them!! i hate going to the vets and i am always the first to get on the table!! i think it is because i am small and easier to handle then lucky!!
i am sure glad it is over and i do not have to go through that til next year!!

Rats!!

i was minding my own buisness in the garden today and out of nowhere i see this rat!! i am well known for my mouse catching so i guess i should see what i can do about this critter!!
mum used to have a pet mouse called lightning and i kind of killed it. she was upset but then she said it was not my fault. grandad had put me in the same room as the mouse. so if i had not been in the room it would not have happened.
so i figgure the least i can do for them is try to get this rat!! the garden is so big and i am so small!! but i recon if i wait long enough i could get him or her! mum would not be too pleased though! she belives all animals have a right to live despite what they are so i will have to do it while she is out!!

Trouble

last night i got sick. I was sick all over the carpet and grandad went mad. Mum tried her best to make me feel better though. She gave me lots of hugs and some warm milk even though she said she should not as it is not very good for me.
It seemed to work though,my tummy was starting to feel better. Grandad says its because i keep eating the apples in the garden. I know i should not eat them as they are not ripe yet. So mum made a point to go and pick them all up so i would not get sick anymore.
It was raining hard last night so after i had been out for the toilet,i had muddy paws. Again grandad got angry at me for leaving paw prints all over his clean floor. Mum tried her best to get my feet clean so not to upset grandad. I do not think he likes me much. Sigh,he said i am only here because my mum wanted me.
I know she is looking for a place to live,so then me and lucky can go with her and keep grandad happy. The trouble is,whenever my mum says she has 2 dogs the people on the other end of the phone say sorry we do not take pets. It must be hard for her as i know she wants to take us away from here and make our lives better.
I hope she finds somewhere soon,then we can all be happy. Until next time my fellows doggys.
