He stayed by the door most of the night and I went out often to pet and play with him. It was going to be 101 degrees and staff couldn't leave the pup out in the heat so I offered to take him home. The next day I got a call from staffing about the pup. I brought the pup to my job where my boss knew he was for sale. She told the staffing person to give the lady her business card. I told staffing person I'll write her a check. That day the owner came to my house and I bought the pup. The pup now has a forever home and goes by the name Jake, dogger, peanut and is very spoilled.

I get really excited when I know its time for my mom to come home from work. I can't tell time, but I can feel its time. She doesn't even get time to put her thermos and lunch box down. I'm all over her with wet sloppy kisses. She calls me wiggly butt cause I wiggle with excitment. I'm so happy to see her. She has to drop her thermos and lunch box on the floor and takes me out and we play and play. Then I get my pig ear and I'm a happy dog and happy to sleep next to my mom.

My mom and dad have been working very hard to make the yard a safe place for me to play. The grass is Straw yellow. Probably because there hasn't been a dog to play in it for several years. But mom promise there will be green grass next year. When my mom and her next best friend is working on the house or yard I have to be on my runner they are afraid I'll run away and not come back. But mom promises when its all done I can run loose and free in the yard with green grass and come in the house anytime I want.

Last night my mom got a bit upset at me for bringing my Jumbo bone in on the bed. It kind of left the blanket a mess, but I enjoyed it.

Jake's been with us for two weeks now. I'd been thinking about getting another dog, Since I've always had a dog in my life, but kept putting it off until Jake came along.

Jake is a healthy 3 month old pup according to his vet. He lives the good life. He's spoiled to the max and always wants to please. There's no grass in the yard, but next year I guess I'll just have to break down and get a lawnmower so Jake has green grass to play in.

Since jake came into my life he has filled a void that's been there for a long time. Jake has a forever home with me and is loved very much.
