Arrival Story: Trixie was wandering through the alley alone one day. A neighbor was washing his car. She played with the wash cloths, shaking them back and forth. The neighbor finished washing his car and closed his garage door. She tried to come inside but the neighbor wouldn't let her. She was a small puppy then so he thought she might belong to one of the other neighbors. The next morning as I left for work, Trixie was sitting on our front porch. When I walked out the door she looked up at me excited that someone came outside. Her tail was going a hundred miles an hour. We took her around the neighborhood, but no one knew who she was. The next day we took her to our vet to clean her up and get her ready for her new home....ours.
