WALKS!!! I LOVE GOING FOR WALKS! Being with her Mommy and Daddy; getting non-stop pets and hugs; going to the beach

Pet-Peeves:
Thunderstorms; being left behind when Mom and Dad have to go out; FedEx, UPS and Mail man (the garbage man is okay); hate fake doorbells (like the ones on tv, which fake me out thinking that someone is at the front door for me to bark at!)

Favorite Toy:
Chilipepper

Favorite Food:
Pretty much anything that Mommy or Daddy would give her.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere she can drag her Daddy--but I'm learning not to pull (and to let Daddy think he's leading me).

Best Tricks:
"Dead Doggie"

Arrival Story:
Mommy and Daddy were looking for an Aussie Shepherd but they're kinda rare in Hawaii. The neighbor had a friend who had a yearling Aussie who was getting beat up continually by his other dog (a mean old 7 year old Rottweiler). He was looking for a good home to take Coco. One afternoon, he brought Coco over to visit and she decided to stay, since her new Mommy and Daddy seemed to love her so much.

I decided to start this diary to help my Mommy and Daddy remember stuff about me. Sometimes they forget. I'll try to update this occasionally, but with Mommy and Daddy using the computer, I don't get much keyboard time--besides, it's sooo hard to type with these paws...I usually ask my Daddy to help me.

My doctor said that I was getting too heavy (from sitting around the house watching tv all the time), Mommy and Daddy got some new food for me to help me lose weight. I didn't like it at first, but after about a week, I got used to it and now I like it okay. My Daddy fixes me da best kaukau! He knows just what I like (fresh broccoli and few tidbits of steak mixed in with the doggy food)!

I'm also trying to learn some better manners. I used to get a little anxious and wild around strangers (two and four-legged ones), but my Daddy and Mommy have been working with me and taking me out for walks every night. They don't really know it, but I'm actually taking them out to get a little more fit and healthy by excercising. They both need to lose some weight too (especially Daddy). The walk is the highlight of my day! I can't wait for it to get dark so we can go out!

I'm so happy now taking them out that I like to spend even more time with my Mommy and Daddy--at night, I especially like to usurp my Daddy's spot on the bed--it's funny to see Mommy get mad at him when he tries to squeeze into bed and has to make her move over! He had to sleep on the floor the other night because I took up so much space.

Oops! I gotta go now. It's almost time for my comidas!!! YIPPEE!!! eating was my favorite time of the day until we started walking every day--now it's #2. But.....if it's dinner time, that means it's that much closer to WALK time!!! Seeyas! Coco
