We adopted from a terrific no-kill shelter
http://www.littleshelter.com/. My husband and I saw him on their website, and decided that this dog needed all the TLC we could give him. He was so forlorn and frightened; he cowered in corners, shied away from people..no one had ever seen his tail wag.
Bio:
Sawyer is a resue from the Hurricane Katrina devastation. He was running wild for 5 months, and had to be caught in a trap. He was transported to New York and was lucky enough to be placed in a no-kill shelter. He is TERRIFIED of change, of noise, of new people/situations. Hopefully, with a calm home, another dog to guide him along, and a LOT of TLC and patience, he can come out of his trauma and enjoy his future. When he's relaxed, he's a loving, wagging, wiggling boy!
